Groomed Bozeman Creek up to Wild Horse this morning. Somewhere between 6-12 inches of new snow above the bridge which made for a nice new platform and tracks!

No valley grooming has been done following the most recent winter (spring?) storm. George will groom Bozeman Creek tonight, so Tuesday should be a good ski day. Remember, the Hyalite road will close to motorized access on Wednesday morning.

George groomed Sourdough Canyon last night to Moser Divide and Wild Horse Junction using the Bombardier. It should provide excellent skiing for the next couple days. You can access Moser Divide by a <2 mile ski from the Hyalite Road or from the bottom of the Sourdough Canyon (Bozeman Creek) trailhead.
WARNING: There have been multiple break-ins and thefts from vehicles parked in the Sourdough Canyon Trailhead parking lot. Take your valuables with you or leave them at home.
Hyalite road will close April 1st. It has not been groomed since the last couple snows, but should offer some great touring.

Just finished all of Bozeman Creek with the big machien. Groomed both sides, and down through the gate to the Moser parking lot. It all looks pretty good except the very bottom near the Sourdough access. The snow on the Moser side is a bit better than Wild Horse if you have to choose between the two.

Moser Divide Access

Groomed up to Moser Divide, and through the gate down to the parking lot for access from the Hyalite side. Be watching for snowmobile traffic between the Moser lot and the gate, as that is an approved snowmobile route. This should keep us skiing on the upper portion of the Bzn Ceek complex for a bit longer.

I groomed Bozeman Creek this morning up to Wild Horse. The new snow was to wet to process with the tiller down low, so no classic tracks for the first 2 miles. Will groom again tonight if the temp drops sufficiently.

HYALITE: All the normally groomed Hyalite trails were groomed today. The classic tracks went in very well. Thanks to Ron Johnson (USFS) for helping with the efforts!

Bozeman Creek: George used the Bombardier to reinstall all of the Sourdough drainage – to Moser Divide and Wild Horse Junction, both classic and skate. Cold temperatures should have set his work up beautifully!

Lindley: Snowmobile groomed this morning, both upper and lower fields, for classic and skate.

Hyalite: Will be groomed Thursday, during the day.

Machine groomed all of Bozeman Creek last night, both Wild Horse and up to Moser Divide. Should be very solid with the cold temps this morning – may be the best skiing this year up there for the next couple of days until it warms up significantly!

All of Lindley was groomed this morning, both skate and classic. At Bozeman Creek, skate and classic lanes were groomed from the trailhead to the bridge.

Snow is in the forecast for tonight and tomorrow, followed by several nice days. George is planning to rework all of Bozeman Creek Tuesday night in preparation for those sunny days later this week.

Ouch, waking up to heavy snow this morning was disappointing, but probably only to the grooming staff! Last night George worked the Sourdough Canyon drainage and I did Hyalite into the wee hours of the morning . Stars and moon were bright till near midnight. We were looking forward to offering some great skiing choices to everyone this morning. Instead, it looks like a great day to grab the fat boards and head to Bridger Bowl or Big Sky. On the positive side, this will help extend and freshen all the Nordic venues.

On Thursday, George groomed all of the Sourdough Canyon (Bozeman Creek) drainage to Moser Divide and Wild Horse Junction. There is about one inch of new snow on top of his grooming, so it should still ski well. Lindley is groomed for classic and skate skiing. Hyalite remains ungroomed as of this morning, though we may muster efforts to get some of the routes packed this weekend.

BOZEMAN CREEK: Classic and skate lane are in to the bridge! Soft packed powder conditions. There is over a foot of new snow above the bridge and that is on top of what was groomed yesterday. Putting Hyalite, Moser and Wild Horse Junction routes in will be slow and time consuming.
