We went to bed Friday evening with all venues well groomed and awoke to much needed snow, but valley venues that were better suited for touring than groomed skiing. Tonight’s weather forecast is calling for increased chance of accumulating snow during the evening/early morning hours. So, for tomorrow…..
LINDLEY PARK: Will be Bombardier groomed early in the morning unless it is snowing heavily.
BOZEMAN CREEK: Will be Ginzu groomed early tomorrow morning. The extent of grooming will be dependent upon conditions encountered. Expect classic and skate skiing at least to the bridge. I understand this drainage received less snow accumulation than we did on the valley floor.
BRIDGER CREEK GOLF COURSE: Was Ginzu groomed today and will likely be groomed again tonight.
HYALITE: Last groomed yesterday.

HYALITE: Ginzu groomed this morning.

Winter storm advisory is in effect for our area with 2”-4” possible in town and more in the mountains. We’ll suspend grooming operations untill this weather event is over, then get our venues back in shape for the weekend. THINK SNOW!

BRIDGER CREEK GOLF COURSE: Stuart snowmobile/Ginzu groomed yesterday morning.
BOZEMAN CREEK: Snowmobile/Ginzu groomed yesterday morning to Wild Horse Junction. Today, Chad will pack to Moser Divide. That roue may be Ginzu groomed if time and conditions allow.

UP-DATE: Friday

CAUTION!!!!!!!! Chad reports that last night a SECOND bonfire was built in the first parking lot (as you drive into the trailhead) at Bozeman Creek. They burnt pallets again and the resulting fire pit is filled with nails. Many of the nails are now frozen in ice and are pointing upward. If we get snow tonight, these pits and nails will be covered and will be a real tire puncture hazard. They also either stoll or burned the traffic candle we had marking the first fire pit. I recommend avoiding the first parking lot!

Grooming is on hold today untill we see what the winter storm brings to our area. For Saturday, we expect to snowmobile/Ginzu groom Bozeman Creek in the morning. Other venues will be snow dependent.

LINDLEY PARK: Skate lane snowmobile/Ginzu refreshed everywhere except for yesterday’s sprint course. We’ll remeve the sprint course once night time temperatures drop below the mid-twenties.
