BOZEMAN CREEK: At some point this morning, Chad will snowmobile/Ginzu groom the skate lane to at least the bridge and possibly as far as Moser Divide. Rock skis recommended. Watch for bare/thin snow cover in the first mile or so and the rocks/rocklets that have rolled onto the route from the sun exposed hillsides.

LINDLEY PARK: Snowmobile/Ginzu refreshed the skate lane last night at freeze-up. Should be interesting and quite skiiable this morning until the temperatures warm too much. Watch for thin spots.

BOZEMAN CREEK: I know this is late notice, but this morning I Ginzu groomed Bozeman Creek from the trailhead to both Moser and Wild Horse Junction for classic and skate. There was about 4” of very dense, moist, new snow. It is pretty soft newly groomed over a solid base. It’ll tunn pretty sloppy in the first couple miles in these temperatures.

HYALITE: Ginzu groomed this morning. Classic tracks were installed where possible. Elsewhere just smoothed the ski lane. Hyalite road willl close for the season on April 1.

BOZEMAN CREEK: Chad’s efforts were productive last night to Moser Divide. Danny will ginzu groom to Wild Horse Junction Friday morning.

LINDLEY: The snowpack is too thin in many areas to run the Bombardier. Expect rutted morning skiing that improves as conditions warm and soften in the afternoon.

ALL VENUES: We are starting to significantly reduce our grooming efforts. Warm afternoon temperatures are taking a toll on the snowpack and our grooming efforts. Good spring skiing is still available, but we will be reducing our grooming frequency. It has been a GREAT ski season! THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO PURCHASED A GROOMING PASS! YOU HELPED MAKE THE GROOMING POSSIBLE!

LINDLEY PARK: Last night, one lap around the skate lane only in the lower field only. Monday was a tough day for snow loss. We now have a number of bare spots showing and those will rapidly spread if warm sunny days continue. Not many grooming days left if this continues.

BOZEMAN CREEK: Has not been groomed for several days. Will be regroomed once this next storm system moves through the area.

Grooming Plans for March 7 - 12

Sun Mar 7, 07:50 PM
by Bob Seibert

BOZEMAN CREEK: We plan to snowmobile/Ginzu groom from the trailhead to Moser Divide and possibly Wild Horse Junction on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings.

LINDLEY PARK: We will Bombardier groom Sunday and Monday evenings. We’ll see how the snowpack holds up before committing to additional grooming. We are loosing snow cover dropping out of the statium at Lindley Center and at the top of the first gully. Please use caution!

HYALITE: I was up Hyalite today. The conditions were such that I decided not to groom. The ski trails are mostly smooth and flat with shallow tracks. there is about 1” of new snow on top of this base. The base is quite solid and I was unable to set new tracks. It is very skiable but has suffered from all the warm days.

BOZEMAN CREEK: Last groomed by snowmobile Thursday night. Very skiable but not freshly groomed.

LINDLEY: Last Bombardier groomed Thursday evening. I suspect it is severely tracked.

All venues and grooming efforts have been severely affected by the very warm temperatures we’ve been experiencing. The best skiing for Saturday will be Bohart, but all the valley venues will be skiable.
