Western States Youth Ski Festival trip, Feb. 26-28

J5 second year/J4/J3 BSF skiers are all cordially invited to travel with BSF Nordic to the Western States Ski Festival in Whitefish, Montana!! This trip is very fun, and I would encourage everyone to come along! To get the best idea of what to expect, talk to skiers who went last year. The events are designed especially for the younger skier with a focus on participation, team building, sportsmanship, and having a great time! In addition to the usual classic and skate races, there will be a screaming downhill and a big-time obstacle course!
We will leave from the horseshoe parking lot at Bozeman Senior High School at 7:00 AM on Friday, February 26th; and we will return late Sunday night, February 28th. We will be staying in cabins at the Glacier Outdoor Center More trip details will be coming in an email, but at this time we just need a little information from you before we can send out trip details.
1. If you plan to go to Western States, please email Kristen (bsf_nordic@yahoo.com) asap.
2. If you would like to be the athlete/athletes in charge of making BSF headbands (or similar “head-ware”), please email Kristen asap.
3. If you have any questions at all about the trip, please email your skier’s group coach (Heidi, Kristen or Gro).
