CAUTION!!!!!!!! Chad reports that last night a SECOND bonfire was built in the first parking lot (as you drive into the trailhead) at Bozeman Creek. They burnt pallets again and the resulting fire pit is filled with nails. Many of the nails are now frozen in ice and are pointing upward. If we get snow tonight, these pits and nails will be covered and will be a real tire puncture hazard. They also either stoll or burned the traffic candle we had marking the first fire pit. I recommend avoiding the first parking lot!
