November potluck info from Jolene Baldwin

The snow has arrived! The snow prayers sent out by the skiers after practice on Wednesday night were answered. It is fitting that ski season in town is starting in time for the winter potlucks. The November BSF Nordic Potluck will be Wednesday, November 18th. It will be held at the Lindley Center, the log cabin building east of Bozeman Sunset Hills Cemetery. Plan to drop off and pick up your skier at Lindley Center on the 18th—all groups will start and end there and NOT at the hospital.
The potluck starts at 5:30, but I will have the building open by 5:00 to set up tables and chairs. If you can help with the setup I would appreciate the assistance. The skiers/racers will be FAMISHED so please have your food on the tables by 5:30, if you can. That way they can eat as soon as they are done skiing. We will be able to park at Lindley Center that night because we have rented the building.
The food assignments are as follows:
Last name beginning with A-K, main dish
Last name beginning with L-O, vegetable dish or salad
Last name beginning with P-Z, desert or bread
REMEMBER, THIS IS A HUNGRY GROUP SO BRING PLENTY OF FOOD!!!!!
BSF will provide plates, silverware, napkins, a drink and glasses. Please remember to bring any utensils that will be required to serve your dish, as the Lindley Center does not have a supply of those things.
The OJ’s and J1’s will help with the clean-up after the potluck.
You can buy a BSF Nordic hat at the potluck too for $25.
See you on November 18th,
Jolene
