Hello Everyone—
It’s been a great week of wintry weather that should make for excellent ski conditions for the rest of the ski season. During these colder days, make sure your children are dressed warmly and eat/drink plenty before skiing.
Today, the temperature may be very close to cancellation level of 10F for the Wednesday group at Lindley. The current forecast is for a high in the 20’s, so we will not cancel at the time of this mailing (9:30am). But keep an eye on in-town thermometers as we will plan to stay home if the temperature at 3:45 is 10F or lower.
Tomorrow is the Lindley World Cup Race and potluck at the Lindley Center. All YSL kids are welcome to attend to race or just to watch. There will be about fifty racers from age 7 to 77 years old. Very informal race start around 4:30pm. 1 kilometer course for little ones; may do classic or skate. Potluck dinner afterwards (around 5:30pm)—if you plan to attend, please bring a side dish.
