Tuesday, Jan. 22 – Lindley Park, CLASSIC skiing

Thursday, Jan. 24 – Lindley World Cup SKATE Distance Race followed by
Potluck. Pick up your skiers at the Lindley Center after practice.

Saturday, Jan. 26 – Bohart Ranch, CLASSIC skiing at 10:00 a.m.
Parents, consider participating in the GVLT “Make Tracks for Trails”
event. Details can be found at http://gvlt.org/

Here are the potluck details from Jolene Baldwin . . .

Dear BSF members,

The January potluck will be Thursday, January 24th at 5:45 p.m. It
will be held at the Lindley Center, the log cabin building east of
Bozeman Sunset Hills cemetery. Hopefully, someone will have pictures to
share from the Soldier Hollow Races this weekend. Plan to pick up your
skier at Lindley Center after practice on the 24th—all groups will end
up there
and NOT at the hospital.

Before the potluck, we will have a Lindley World Cup Race. It will be
a SKATE race with distances for the different age groups. Look for LWC
race details in a future email.

The potluck will start at 5:45, but I will have the building open by
5:00 to set up tables and chairs. If you can help with the setup I
would appreciate the assistance. The skiers/racers will be FAMISHED so
please have your food on the tables by 5:45, if you can. That way they

an eat as soon as they are done running/skiing.

The food assignments are as follows:

Last name beginning with A-G, desert or bread
Last name beginning with H-O, main dish
Last name beginning with P-Z, vegetable dish or salad

REMEMBER, THIS IS A HUNGRY GROUP SO BRING PLENTY OF FOOD!!!!!

BSF will provide plates, silverware, napkins, and glasses. Please
remember to bring any utensils that will be required to serve your
dish, as the Lindley Center does not have a
supply of those things.

A special thanks to all the older kids and their parents who stayed to
help clean up in December. I greatly appreciated your help. It was
wonderful to be out of there by 9:00.

Please join us for an evening of food and socializing on Thursday,
January 24th.

Jolene
