BSF J5 News and Information:

the J5's

· Sat Dec 1, 02:57 PM by Dragan Danevski

Hello all J5 families,

What a great start to the season! Even though it has been: muddy, rainy, cold, wet, and sometimes downright miserable conditions; the j5’s have proven their metal. We got off to a good start on the dryland, then west camp brrrrrrrr. training still continues to be going well on the snow.

Lately we have been working on a lot of classic skiing(partially due to the conditions at lindley) but now there’s enough snow we will work more on the skating style. But everyone knows the better you are at classic skiing the better skater you are!

The kids NEED to bring their water bottles/camelbacks to EVERY practice, and dress approprietly for the weather it is wicked cold
out there after the sun goes down (headlamps are a good idea too!)

everyone has shown at least some marked improvement. whether it be learing how to go down hills or to balance on our skis. I look forward to the rest of the season with the j5’s!
